The editor
Reuel Golden is the former editor of the British Journal of Photography. Polaroids, The Rolling Stones, Her Majesty, Football in the 1970s, the National Geographic editions, and The David Bailey SUMO.
The photographer
Guy Webster (b. 1939) began his career by bluffing his way into teaching a photography class in the US Army. He soon became one of the most in-demand rock’n’roll photographers, shooting most major acts of the 1960s when they came through Los Angeles, including Bob Dylan, The Doors, and The Beach Boys. Webster shot the US cover for The Rolling Stones’ album Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass) (1966) in Beverly Hills.
